  • Orthodontics

We use Clear Correct as a method of Orthodontics.

ClearCorrect is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional braces. A
series of clear, custom-made, removable aligners are used to gradually move teeth a little bit at a time.
The end result is your aligned smile that you have always desired.

Benefits of Clear Correct Clear Aligners:

    • Invisible – People can hardly tell you are wearing the Aligners, so this allows you to show off your smile with confidence.
    • Removable – These trays can be easily removed when you need to eat, brush, and floss.
    • Whiten at the Same Time – During the duration of your Orthodontic Treatment you can also add Bleaching Gel to the aligners, achieve a brighter and whiter smile by whitening at the same time.
    • Health Benefits – There are no Wires or Bands that make it difficult to keep good Oral Hygiene and prevent inflammation, which could potentially lead to serious health issues.
    • Avoids Extractions of the Premolars – To help align the teeth we can create space in between the teeth by a process called Interproximal Reduction (IPR). This avoids extracting the premolar teeth, which is common with traditional braces.
    • Fewer Dental Visits – The duration of each individual clear aligner is 2 weeks, and you will receive multiple Aligners allowing you to replace your aligners on your own every few weeks.
Wondering if Clear Correct is for you? Who can Benefit:
    • Crowded teeth
    • Crooked or Rotated teeth
    • Spacing between teeth
    • Overbite
    • Underbite

Dr. Meiser will be happy to help you determine if Clear Correct is the right Orthodontic Treatment option for you. For more questions regarding Clear Correct, call our office today and schedule your appointment!

  • Perio Protect

Since we are a Complete Health Practice and understand that Gum Health is extremely important as it correlates to your overall Health and Wellness, we are proactive in helping you achieve Optimal Health.

Gum disease is caused by a bacterial infection that is hidden below your gums. Dental cleanings can effectively treat the bacteria, but when you return home the cycle often continues. Bacterial cells grow back in just hours after a cleaning, and toothbrush, rinse and floss can’t reach deep enough to address the infection at home.

The Perio Tray by Perio Protect gently applies medication deep under the gums to fight the infections. You use it at home for just minutes each day. The Tray is comfortable, flexible, and custom-fit precisely for your mouth.

With Perio Tray therapy, you have a new chance against the infections. In additional to healthier gums, patients commonly report whiter teeth and fresher breath. If you’ve been told that you have gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), ask our team if Perio Trays are right for you.

    What to Expect:

    • Impressions of your mouth will be taken and then sent to the lab, where they will fabricate your custom trays. The trays are custom-fabricated to match your specific treatment needs. They will be designed to gently deliver medication below the gum line and keep the medication there to combat infection.
    • Since every patient’s mouth is unique, Dr. Meiser will design a treatment plan specifically for you. The duration and frequency varies for each patient as there are different levels of disease and infection in the gums.
    • Perio Protect trays are not only effective, but both comfortable and convenient. You can wear these trays while watching your favorite show on Netflix, while you are taking a shower, walking your dog, or out for a morning run. It’s a non-invasive option before gum (periodontal) surgery.
    • This treatment option does not require you to wear these trays for hours each day, but only a few minutes. A low concentration of hydrogen peroxide gently and thoroughly cleanses the periodontal pockets and combats bacteria. There are wonderful side effects to this treatment which include: Whiter teeth, fresher breath, and most importantly a healthier you!
Call our office today to schedule your appointment to find out if Perio Protect is the right treatment option for you!

  • Dental Bridges

Dental bridges can be the perfect option for those who are missing teeth. Bridges are designed to replace one tooth or several missing teeth in a row. Because they are non-removable appliances, bridges can provide a more permanent solution to your missing teeth. When in place, your bridge can:

    • Complete your smile
    • Prevent facial sagging
    • Help you speak, chew, and digest as normal
    • Prevent other teeth from shifting
    • Replace an unwanted removable partial

Bridges are comprised of one or more pontics (artificial teeth) attached to two crowns placed on the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth space. The bridge will be created using digital impressions of your teeth and can be completed in just a few convenient visits to Holger Dental Group in Minnetonka. For the most aesthetic results, your bridge may be created out of porcelain, a tooth-colored material.

Once your custom bridge is complete, you can eat and speak as normal as well as enjoy a natural-looking smile. If you are missing teeth, call or visit us today. We’ll be happy to schedule your consultation with Dr. Meiser and help you return to optimal oral health and function soon.

  • Dentures and Partials

When missing most or all of your natural teeth, a partial or complete denture, respectively, may be best for you. Dentures and partials are removable appliances designed to look and feel like your natural teeth and gums. They are custom-made for the most natural-looking results possible. When in place, a complete or partial denture can:

    • Replace all of your missing teeth
    • Allow you to chew, eat, and speak normally
    • Restore facial volume
    • Give you a more radiant and beautiful smile

Dr. Meiser can place your custom denture or partial in just a few visits at Holger Dental Group. For the best results, he may recommend attaching your denture or partial to one or more dental implants placed into the jawbone. Dental implants add security and stability to your dentures so that you don’t have to worry about any slipping or sliding ever again.

We invite you to call our office in Minnetonka today if you are missing teeth. We can help you schedule a consultation with Dr. Meiser so that you can learn if dentures, partials, implants, or another treatment option is right for you and your smile. Together we can help you enjoy a fully functional, healthy, and radiant smile once again.

  • Root Canals

Root canal therapy is the preferred alternative to tooth extraction. Requiring just one or two visits to our office in Minnetonka, a root canal will restore function and health to your smile without sacrificing the natural tooth. In addition, a root canal will not require any costly or significant dental restorations in the future, while an extraction will. Dr. Holger often recommends root canal therapy to restore a tooth with:

    • A significant injury
    • Decay in the pulp
    • An abscess or infection

After the root canal therapy is complete, Dr. Holger will place a beautiful custom crown over the tooth for protection and aesthetics. Root canals can save your teeth and restore your oral health, but they can also be avoided with a good oral hygiene routine. To avoid the necessity of a root canal, we recommend brushing and flossing every day, maintaining a healthy diet, limiting snacks between meals, and visiting the dentist at least once every six months. If you experience any dental pain or discomfort, contact Holger Dental Group as soon as possible to receive the care you need.
