New Dental Patient Information Minneapolis

A Warm Welcome to Holger Dental Group

Our friendly and knowledgeable team at Holger Dental Group is excited to welcome you to our office. We want you to experience the exceptional, first-class results and service that we provide our patients, redefining what it looks like to visit the dental office. Below, we’ve included some helpful information to get you ready for your first appointment. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give our team a call!

Your First Visit

Our new patient appointments are typically 90 minutes long, as we always strive to provide our patients with plenty of one-on-one time with their dentist and hygienist. We’ll get to know you a little better on a personal level before diving right in and reviewing your medical history, taking X-rays, measuring your gums and bone, and taking photos of your teeth. If you aren’t showing any signs of gum disease or oral health problems, we will also complete a regular cleaning. Our goal is to be an advocate for your oral and overall health!

One of our experienced dentists will then come in and introduce themselves to you before performing a comprehensive, thorough examination of your teeth and gums, as well as any diagnostic images that we collected. They will ask you about your oral health goals and spend time with you showing and explaining any of their findings, as well as what it means for your overall health. Your dentist will listen to your goals and help you come up with a plan to get your smile to where you want it to be, whether that’s aesthetically, functionally, or health-wise.

If a treatment plan is presented to you by our clinical team, one of our treatment coordinators will review the plan and help schedule any follow-up visits for you. We’ll discuss any benefits that you can expect your insurance company to put towards the treatments and discuss associated out-of-pocket expenses. If needed, we also partner with multiple third-party financiers to help split the cost of the treatment up into monthly payments. At the end, we promise to review what the total investment will be and how many appointments you will need for your care so you have a clear understanding of what to expect moving forward.

Patient Forms

After you schedule your first appointment at Holger Dental Group, you’ll receive an email from our office that contains a secure link for you to fill out your new patient forms electronically. This will help make your first visit streamlined and as simple as possible!

Dental Insurance

Our office is proud to work with your dental insurance by determining your benefits and how they apply to your treatments, as well as filing any claims on your behalf. We want to maximize your savings wherever possible, so please let us know if you have insurance so we can keep that information on file for you.
