Advanced Dental Technology Minneapolis

Convenience, Comfort & Cutting-Edge Precision

Our state-of-the-art office is equipped with the latest, most advanced dental technology available to us to make sure every detail of your treatment is thoroughly planned. This technology can yield truly phenomenal results as well as a more comfortable and convenient visit for you! You can learn more about some of the technology we utilize below, or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give our team a call.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Our cone beam CT scanner is an advanced imaging device that takes hundreds of photos in a matter of seconds by rotating around your head as your chin rests on a stand. Once it’s complete, the device will begin piecing together those images to create a 3D, detailed view of your entire facial structure. The process only takes a minute or two and can help our experts plan and execute treatments, as well as diagnose more complex dental issues more accurately.

Why Do We Need to Take 3D CBCTs?

We may recommend that a cone beam image be taken before oral surgeries, like dental implant placement or a tooth extraction, to help detail how we plan to execute the procedure. We also use a CBCT scan to help us diagnose oral health concerns like decay or tooth infection, as well as for preventive checkups.

Digital Impressions

Digital impressions are not only a more effective and efficient way to capture impressions of your teeth and gums to craft oral appliances and restorations from, but they’re also much more comfortable. Instead of using gag-inducing putty like other dental offices still do, all our team will need to do to capture an impression is to move a camera around your mouth. It will create a 3D, photorealistic model of your teeth and gums that we can immediately send off to our dental laboratory or 3D printer to begin making your appliance, prosthetic, or restoration.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our Picasso Clario Diode dental laser can aid your experience and enhance your treatment in a number of ways. By cauterizing the tissue, the laser virtually eliminates the need for a scalpel and sutures, as well as post-operative discomfort and other side-effects like bleeding. We can use this technology during a number of procedures to make them more precise, comfortable, and streamlined, including gum recontouring, to prepare your smile for a dental crown, and even treat gum disease.

Cavity Detection System

Even a trained naked eye can’t spot every sign of decay, which is why our team employs Pearl AI software in our office too. This system acts as a second opinion while looking over your X-rays, comparing what it sees to millions of other X-rays that have been used to diagnose issues like decay, infection, and areas of concern. With it, our team can make sure that any possible signs of dental problems are monitored or looked over again to ensure that you’ve received an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

3D Printer

3D printing is a cutting-edge modern addition to our dental office. It allows Dr. Holger, Dr. Kate, and Dr. Rochelle to drastically minimize turnaround times on oral appliances that we would typically need to send to a laboratory to craft. After taking a digital impression of your mouth, we can design your oral appliance and send the design to our SprintRay printer to create it within hours. In many cases, you’ll be able to return to our office either the same or next day to pick up your appliance.

Virtual Smile Design

If you’re interested in comprehensive aesthetic and restorative treatment, like a full mouth reconstruction or smile makeover, you’ll love our virtual smile design software and technology. Using special facial scanning technology, we can demonstrate what your smile will look like after treatment before it has even begun! This will help you feel more confident when you decide to move forward with your treatment plan.
